Court support and accessibility

Court interpreter

Court proceedings are done in English (and French, when requested).

If you need help in another language for your court appearance, you may request an interpreter. Contact the Niagara Region Provincial Offences Court once you have a court date.

Support for disabilities

If you or someone that you represent needs accessibility services or accommodation:

Request your accommodation as early as possible to give the court time to review and work with you to determine the most appropriate support.

Some accommodations may not be possible without enough notice. At least two weeks notice is recommended.

Make a complaint

You can submit a formal complaint on the conduct of a Justice of the Peace, court administration staff or prosecutors.

Justice of the Peace

To submit a complaint about a Justice of the Peace, contact the Justice of the Peace Review Council.

Court administration staff or prosecutors

To submit a complaint about court administration staff or prosecutors, email the Provincial Offences Court or mail a written complaint to Manager, Court Services, 445 East Main St., Welland, L3B 3X7.
