Notice of Public Information Centre #1 for Steele Street Sewage Pumping Station Relocation / West Port Colborne Gravity Main Environmental Study in Port Colborne
Niagara Region is carrying out a Schedule B Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to study the possibility of building a new large sewer trunk and sewage pumping station in Port Colborne. This would better transport wastewater to the Seaway Wastewater Treatment Plant.
As part of the study, a consultation process is underway and your participation is encouraged. An in-person Public Information Centre will be held to share details on the study’s problem and opportunity, alternative solutions and evaluation criteria.

Comments can be submitted until Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The display materials will be available on the Steele Street Sewage Pumping Station Relocation and West Port Colborne Gravity Main Environmental Assessment project page starting Nov. 5.
