Public Information Centre for Oswego Creek Bridge Replacement in Wainfleet

Niagara Region completed a Schedule “C” Municipal Class Environmental Assessment in 2021 and is now exploring alternatives for the Oswego Creek Bridge replacement on Creek Road (Regional Road 45) in Wainfleet.

  • Time: 4 to 6 p.m.
  • Location: Wellandport Community Centre, 5042 Canborough Rd., West Lincoln
The Region is exploring four options for the bridge:
  • Replace the existing bridge with a one-lane vehicle structure
  • Replace the existing bridge with a pedestrian-only structure
  • Replace the existing bridge with a two-lane structure that includes active transportation
  • Remove the existing bridge with no access over the water
