Project overview

The Oswego Creek Bridge on Creek Road (Regional Road 45) between Diltz Road and Marshagan Road in Wainfleet is closed to vehicle, cycling and pedestrian traffic. A road detour is in place.

The bridge replacement is part of the completed Municipal Class Environmental Assessment. Construction is currently on hold to address archaeological concerns at the site. Options for the bridge replacement are also being reviewed.

A Public Information Centre will be held to discuss the alternatives. The bridge will remain closed for safety reasons until the public consultation process is complete.
