Notice of construction for Cole Farm Sanitary Pumping Station in St. Catharines

Niagara Region is proceeding with upgrades to the Cole Farm Sanitary Pumping Station and forcemain along Colton Avenue and Corbett Avenue in the City of St. Catharines.

The pumping station at 26 Colton Ave. will be replaced with new infrastructure, including the construction of a new 600 m long forcemain that will run from the pumping station site, along Colton Avenue and Corbett Avenue to Main Street.

Construction will begin March 2024 and is expected to last until fall 2024.

  • Expect ongoing lane restrictions, lane closures and road closures resulting in travel delays
  • Alternate routes around the construction zone will be posted and should be taken
  • The waterfront trail will remain accessible throughout construction but will be rerouted outside of the construction area

We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this time of inconvenience.
