Project overview

Niagara Region owns and operates the Union Street Pumping Station at 1 Union St. in Port Colborne. The sewage pumping station was constructed in the 1960s and was later upgraded in 1997. The station needs repair and sustainability upgrades.

Upgrades will be made to the:

  • Pumps
  • Meters
  • Valves
  • Electrical
  • Heating, ventilation and air conditioning
  • Generator
