Project overview

The Oxford Sewage Pumping Station is owned and operated by Niagara Region. It's located in the median of Oxford Boulevard in Port Colborne. The station was constructed in 1975. The 2016 Water and Wastewater Master Servicing Plan predicts growth in the catchment area by 2041. There are concerns about the station's age, poor conditions and rising maintenance costs. The station needs capacity and sustainability upgrades.

Upgrades will be made to the:

  • Pumps
  • Meters
  • Valves
  • Electrical
  • Heating, ventilation and air conditioning
  • Generator
