Forty Mile Creek Bridge Replacement

Based on recommendations from a biennial bridge inspection, Niagara Region will move forward with the design and replacement of the Forty Mile Creek Bridge on Main Street West (Regional Road 81) in Grimsby. The bridge is located between Patton Street and Christie Street (Regional Road 12).

The detailed design will address structural issues with the existing bridge.

The design will include, but not be limited to:

• Replacement of the existing structure
• New sidewalk, curb and gutter
• Lighting
• Drainage
• Potential upgrades and / or repairs to existing stormwater, sanitary sewer and watermain infrastructure
