In this program, Niagara Regional Housing enters into agreements with private rental landlords for units. Tenants sign a standard lease with the landlord of the private building and must abide by the lease conditions. A rent-geared-to-income subsidy is provided directly to the landlords. The number of rent supplement units in any private building will vary.
