Victoria Avenue at Canborough Road Intersection Improvements

This project will focus on intersection improvements at Victoria Avenue (Regional Road 24) and Canborough Road (Regional Road 63). This design project will be done in two phases.

Phase 1 will see the completion of an Intersection Control Study to investigate the implementation of operational and safety modifications at the intersection. The study will examine alternatives of a signalized intersection and roundabout.

Phase 2 of the project will include completion of a detailed design of the preferred alternative as determined by the Intersection Control Study.

The project will ultimately address operational and safety improvements at the intersection. Roadway illumination, culvert replacement and drainage, road resurfacing, and landscaping will also be addressed.

Expected traffic delays

Throughout construction, there will be temporary lane restrictions which may result in delays. Residents and motorists can avoid delays by using alternative routes.

All businesses will remain open and accessible.
