Pool and Spa Operators Course

Niagara Region offers a free, three hour education course for pool and spa operators. At the end of each course, a certificate of attendance is awarded.

The training is intended to give you the skills needed to confidently operate a pool or spa in compliance with Ontario regulations. Once trained you will:

  • Understand basic recreational water chemistry
  • Know what safety equipment is needed
  • Know what mandatory record keeping is needed
  • Understand recreational water maintenance
  • Troubleshoot common problems
