Learning objectives

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the local context for the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA) and immunization record review process for the 2025-2026 school year
  • Assess a historical immunization record to determine what vaccine(s) should be administered to patients
  • Develop a schedule of vaccinations for patients and their families with more complex immunization records that would bring them up to date
  • Explain to patients and their families the process for reporting vaccine-related information, including where and how to submit records and the importance of doing so for public health monitoring

This activity is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 1.5 Mainpro+® certified activity credits.
