Regional Council is the legislative body of the Regional Corporation and has the following members:
All Councillors elected in November 2006 will hold office until December 2010. (4-year term)
Nominations for Running in the 2010 Municipal Election
Nominations for the October 25, 2010 Municipal Election must filed by Friday, September 10, 2010, 2 p.m. at your local municipal office.
Meetings and Process
Regional Council conducts its business at committee and council meetings held on a three-week rotating schedule.
Council operates on a standing committee system. There are four committees for reviewing policy and issues, which make recommendations for Regional Council to pass.
