About the project

This project is a major rehabilitation of the Lundy's Lane (Regional Road 20) Hydro Canal Bridge North in Niagara Falls. The bridge was built in 1965.

Work includes:

  • Bridge deck removal and rehabilitation
  • Coating the underside of the bridge's structural steel
  • Piers, abutments and wingwall rehabilitation
  • Deck widening for a multi-use path
  • Lighting upgrades
  • Building a new multi-use trail pathway connection to Millennium Trail (northwest corner)
  • Asphalt resurfacing
  • Landscaping and site restorations

Traffic Information

All vehicles and pedestrians will use the south bridge with one lane each way during construction.
