Changes to fees at Regional disposal sites
Niagara Regional Council approved a revised residential and commercial fee structure. This structure better reflects the true cost of managing specific material types at the Region's disposal sites.
There is no change to the minimum disposal fee for waste weighing 0-50 kg. The following updated fee rates will take effect March 1, 2026:

Residents are encouraged to separate all Green Bin and recyclable material to reduce waste going to landfill.
