Construction at Bridge Street Landfill site

The Bridge Street Landfill site at 1300 Bridge St. in Fort Erie has construction work in progress that may cause on-site delays. The site is open to visitors.

The work includes road construction and moving the scale house which may cause a temporary disruption to various areas of the site while work is being completed.

From March and into the summer, visitors should expect:

• Site access restrictions
• Traffic delays
• Increased noise
• Heavy equipment moving throughout the site

To ensure safe use of the site during construction:

• Abide by access signs throughout the site
• Remain on marked route
• Be aware of your surroundings while on site
• Follow all traffic control / flag personnel instructions
