Road closure for North Service Road (Regional Road 39) in Lincoln

 

North Service Road (Regional Road 39) between Jordan Road (Regional Road 26) and Seventh Street Louth (Regional Road 34) will be closed to through traffic from Monday, Oct. 5 to Friday, Nov. 27, weather permitting.

 

The closure is needed to complete rehabilitation work on the Sixteen Mile Creek Bridge located about 250 metres west of Charles Daley Park.

 

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained from either end of the closure. Vehicles will not be permitted to cross the bridge. Businesses will remain open throughout construction.

 

Access to Charles Daley Park will be available only from the east side of the bridge via Seventh Street Louth (Regional Road 34). Access to the park will not be available from the west side of the bridge during the closure.

 

Emergency services will be notified of the closure and will access the area using the posted detour routes. Emergency vehicles will not be able to cross the bridge during the closure.
