Accommodation and eligibility
Behavioural support provides temporary accommodation (up to 90 days) in a home-like setting for up to 17 clients.
We assess the emotional, social, environmental and physical needs of each client and then develop individualized treatment and care plans that prepare clients for their relocation to the most appropriate care setting.
Specialized geriatric and therapeutic services are provided for individuals who are:
- Medically stable
- Meet accepted behavioural requirements
- Have been diagnosed with dementia
Following their stay, clients are placed in the most suitable care setting with appropriate supports. Recommendations for additional treatment and follow-up are provided to caregivers.
