Regional Development Charge Policy Task Force

The Regional Development Charge Policy Task Force was established by Regional Council, through the Corporate Services Committee, to function as an advisory group to Regional Council on matters related to the Region's Development Charges By-law, including but not limited to:

  • The evaluation of the Region's Development Charges Smart Growth Exemption applications
  • The preparation of the Region's Development Charges Background Study
  • The resolution of issues arising from the on-going administration of the Region's Development Charges By-law

Membership

The membership is comprised of ex-officio the Regional Chair, appointed members of Regional Council, the Regional CAO, the Commissioners of Corporate Services, Public Works, and Planning Services and their respective designates.

The task force meets quarterly or on an ad hoc basis at the call of the Chair.
