Niagara Regional Housing is governed by a nine member board of directors with representation from the community and Niagara Regional Council.

    Focus on sustainable and innovative practices that will reduce maintenance costs, improve operational efficiency and increase neighbourhood compatibility

    • Build and maintain high-quality innovative supplier relationships and capabilities
    • Improve efficiency and sustainability of new and existing buildings
    • Research, develop and implement effective, innovative and efficient delivery of capital programs, asset management plan and maintenance programs
    • Enhance IT systems for business continuity and performance
    • Implement comprehensive performance measurement system
    • Pilot property management services
  • Creating vibrant communities with our tenants

    Enable Niagara Regional Housing to be community-centric, inclusive and responsive, and provide a positive housing experience for our tenants

    • Supportive integration of new tenants into housing community
    • Deliver innovative partnerships, programs and services to provide responsive tenant support and community engagement
    • Ensure efficient and effective response to tenants' requests for support
    • Create and support safe, connected and healthy Niagara Regional Housing communities
  • Establishing good governance

    Create an informed board with a shared vision, raising awareness and educating the community about the impact of community housing

    • Enhance board expertise
    • Advocate for affordable housing in Niagara
    • Communicate positive messaging and success stories about Niagara Regional Housing to the community
