Niagara Region's Social Assistance and Employment Opportunities delivers the provincial social assistance program, Ontario Works.
Ontario Works has two key components to support you:

Applying for Social Assistance
You may apply for social assistance if you are eligible through the Ontario Works program.
If you are Currently on Ontario Works
The Ontario Works program balances your needs as a participant with your individual responsibility. If you are on Ontario Works, you must take part in activities that will help you gain employment. You will also be required to adhere to certain rules and regulations regarding your income support.
