About the project

Stanley Avenue (Regional Road 102) from Highway 420 to Murray Street in Niagara Falls is a major four-lane north-south arterial road.

The section between Highway 420 and Peer Lane is in poor condition and needs to be reconstructed.

Between Peer Lane and Murray Street, improvements are planned to support future growth and development.

The project includes:

  • Road reconstruction from Highway 420 to Peer Lane
  • Capacity improvements from Peer Lane to Murray Street
  • Active transportation improvements along the corridor
  • Intersection improvements at Ferry Street and Robinson Street
  • A new water transmission main from Highway 420 to Ferry Street
  • Waterline replacements at Kitchener Street, North Street, Ferry Street, Peer Lane and Robinson Street intersections
