The Caped Convincer accepts no excuses when it comes to waste diversion. Lorraine, of St. Catharines, is a member of an elite squad known by some people around her place of employment as the recycle police. When it comes to making sure recyclables are put in the proper place, Lorraine and her colleagues always have a green bin, blue box and grey box ready and waiting. They make sure that everyone puts materials in their proper place. In fact, they have signs explaining exactly what is allowed to go in the green bin. Lorraine's commitment to recycling has not gone unnoticed. She has encouraged others to use their green bin at home. It's just one of the reasons that Lorraine is a Waste Diversion Hero. |
