Ambulation programs, active exercises, stretching, bed exercise and one-to-one treatments by rehabilitation staff increase and maintain your independence and mobility. If rehabilitation, physio or occupational therapy is part of your care requirement, staff will work with a physiotherapist to carry out your treatment plan.
Overnight and short-stay respite for individuals without Alzheimer's disease or dementia is provided at some of our long-term care homes, as available, with full access to regular in-home activities.
As a caregiver, respite provides you with a much needed break and peace of mind knowing that your loved one is well cared for in your absence.
