The Physical Activity Advisor Program

The Physical Activity Advisors program encourages Niagara residents of all ages, abilities and incomes to make healthier lifestyle and active living choices by providing accurate and consistent education about physical activity and its benefits using a trained and supported volunteer base.

Encouraging an Active Niagara

Physical Activity Advisors provide general recommendations to Niagara Residents mainly based on Canada's Physical Activity Guide to Healthy Active Living.

This Program includes:

Physical Activity Advisors provide accurate and consistent information about physical activities and its benefits to communities through presentations and displays.

Presentation Topics Include:

We present in a variety of settings, including community groups, workplaces and community organizations.

Physical Activity Advisors work with people of all ages.

Volunteers Needed

This program depends on volunteers to deliver the presentations. We need volunteers:
