Getting Organized - Helping Children Cope with Stress

Develop a routine of finding out the night before what is needed for the next day, and get it ready before bedtime. This will lessen any feelings of stress in the morning from either forgetting something important or being rushed. A check-list might include:

  • Lunch or activity money
  • Clothes ready for the morning
  • Homework completed
  • Books and shoes in school bag
  • Treats for Class
