Triple P Positive Parenting Program
Niagara-area parents of children aged 2-12 have the chance to take free positive parenting courses. These free courses are given by the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, a clinically-proven parenting program that provides parenting information and ideas about simple routines and small changes that can make a big difference to families.
Parents Learn About
- effective parenting strategies that work
- promoting their children's development
- managing common child behaviour problems
Fall 2010 Sessions
Parents will be taught in small groups of about 10-12 by accredited Triple P practitioners. The positive parenting program involves:
- four 2-hour sessions (once per week), followed by
- three 15-30 minute telephone calls (once per week) to talk about their individual progress
- and a final group session.
