Middle Years 6 to 12 - Communication

Communication is one of your child’s most important social skills.   It is not only talking with others, but it includes tone of voice, body language, facial expression and eye contact.  Parents need to continue to model appropriate speech and language skills.  Allow your child to talk and take part in family conversations.  They need to be exposed to all forms of written and oral communication.
