No thanksMandatory food handler certification has been passed for all food establishments in Niagara, which will be introduced in two phases, starting January 1, 2013.
Establishments will be required to have the minimum of:
On request by Public Health, establishments must show valid certificates with photo ID for each Certified Food Handler and each Operator.
The by-law will come into effect with the following schedule:

| Operator fails to ensure a minimum of one Operator per Medium-Risk Premises is a holder of a valid Food Handler's Certificate | $250 |
