CASTLE Program
Healthy Communities, One Castle at a Time
The Niagara Region Public Health CASTLE program has community health brokers that work in identified priority neighbourhoods. They support and advocate for residents as they navigate health and social services.
Community health brokers connect residents with agencies and resources through referrals, partnerships and on-site programming. Their goal is to increase:
- Social connectedness through community development
- Skill development and self-advocacy skills
- Health and wellbeing of the community
