Niagara Region Landfills and the Recycling Centre

The following can be dropped off, for free, at any Niagara Region landfill site or the Recycling Centre. For hours of operation and landfill locations, please see here.

Note – free recycling drop-off is available to residents only

Residential paper, glass, aluminium and cardboard. Plastic recycling, including – pop, juice, shampoo, detergent, windshield washer fluid and motor oil bottles. Wide mouth plastic tubs and lids such as yogurt, margarine and ice cream containers. Styrofoam and foam meat packaging.

Grocery, milk and bread bags, dry cleaning bags and the plastic outer covering from toilet tissue. Milk and juice cartons and drink boxes.
