To help achieve our goal of diverting 65 per cent of waste from landfills, Niagara Region has developed the Enviro Guide. The Enviro Guide is a directory of businesses/organizations within the Region that accept new and used items that you may no longer need. The goal of the Enviro Guide is simple – to promote the reuse and recycling of as many products as possible.

The online Enviro Guide lists 25 categories of items that can be reused or recycled in alphabetical order. The Guide provides the names, street addresses, phone numbers and brief information on items each business/organization accepts. It is always a good idea to call ahead to make sure the organization is still accepting the item(s) in question. The online Guide also list valuable information on current waste management services and programs and how you can reduce waste around your home and garden.

To use the online Guide, simply choose a category from the left menu.

Would your business/organization like to be included in the Enviro Guide? If so, please fill out the online form and your entry will be added to the website and included in the next print edition of the Guide.

Niagara Region recommends that you contact all businesses/organizations, in advance, to confirm that they will accept the items listed in the Guide.
