The contest closed January 5, 2010. Thank you to all who submitted entries.

We will be reviewing approximately 300 photos submissions and winners will be announced in February.

Entries will be evaluated by a three person panel based on:

• content
• image quality
• creativity
• effectiveness in conveying Niagara’s spirit, energy and/or unique character
• overall visual appeal

Prizes and Awards

Prizes will be awarded for the top three photographs and top three videos as determined by a panel of judges. Prizes will also be awarded to randomly drawn entries. All skill levels are encouraged to submit their idea of Niagara.

Prizes will be given out at a special event at Niagara Region Headquarters in February 2010. Photographs will be on display at Regional Headquarters to convey a collective story of 'Our Niagara', and some images may be used in the final Niagara Culture Plan.
