Regional Councillor Barbara Henderson political career began in 2000 when she was elected as Alderman for the Township of Wainfleet. She is currently serving her first term as Mayor of the Township of Wainfleet and in this capacity her first term on Regional Council.
Councillor Henderson is very active in the community. She has involvements in the Marshville Heritage Festival, Christmas in the Village, Wainfleet Fall Fair, and the Adopt-a-Road Program.
She is a member of the Niagara Bruce Trail Club, Wainfleet Historical Society and the Peninsula Paddlers Kayaking Club.
