The Glenridge Landfill Liaison Committee is an advisory committee to Niagara Region Council reporting through the Planning and Public Works Committee on matters related to the closed Glenridge Quarry Landfill Site.
The committee includes representation from the Ministry of the Environment, Niagara Escarpment Commission, the City of Thorold, the Regional Municipality of Niagara, commercial and institutional establishments in the vicinity of the closed landfill site, the City of St. Catharines Mayor, Ward Councillors and staff, and the Glenridge Landfill Citizens' Committee (GLCC). The GLCC is the only organized citizens group dealing exclusively with the closed landfill site.
