Sealed tenders, plainly marked as to contents, will be received by the Purchasing & Payables Office, Niagara Region, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Parkway, Thorold, Ontario, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
This contract is for the supply of all labour, equipment, and material for the rehabilitation of various roads located throughout the region. The approximate major tender quantities are:
This contract utilizes the Niagara Peninsula Standard Contract Document (Revision 17) which forms the specification documents excepting the "Special Instruction to Bidders, Form of Tender and Supplementary Special Provisions".
Plans, specifications, and Form of Tender may be obtained from the Regional Offices, Purchasing & Payables Office in Corporate Services, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Parkway, Thorold, Ontario. A non-refundable payment in the amount of $25, reflecting part of the cost of document preparation, will be required for each set of tender documents taken. Tender documents will be available for pick-up after NOON on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Plans and specifications may be viewed without charge, but not removed, at the major construction association offices.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender deposit in the amount of $250,000.
Tenders will be publicly opened at 2:15 p.m. at 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Way, Thorold. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
