Development
The Region's economic development department has a mandate to promote Niagara on a global scale and to work in partnership with the region's 12 municipalities to provide effective, innovative services that encourage investment in and travel to the region, along with business support services to attract, maintain and increase jobs in Niagara. The department supports the retention and growth of existing companies and encourages new companies to relocate in Niagara.
Niagara Commercial Properties
The Niagara Commercial Properties System is the first comprehensive Region-wide
inventory of available industrial properties in Niagara Canada. It is an integrated
partnership with all of Niagara's 12 local municipalities and the Niagara
Association of REALTORS. Industrial, commercial and agricultural properties
from the Niagara Association of REALTORS' MLS system are updated nightly
and additional properties, posted directly to the system by registered users,
are updated on an ongoing basis. The sophisticated search criteria and detailed
information on more than 900 properties have made this a successful tool in
promoting the industrial, commercial and agricultural opportunities in Niagara.
