The 17th annual Niagara Children's Water Festival will take place on April 28 through May 1, 2020. New in 2020, the festival will take place at Brock University in St. Catharines.
The festival is open to grades three and four students in Niagara for free.
Transportation arrangements and costs are covered by the sponsors. Students are picked up at their school in the morning and returned in time for dismissal.
We ask all students to bring a litter-free lunch and dress appropriately for this rain or shine outdoor event.
At the festival, students learn about the importance of water with exciting educational activity centres. Each activity centre includes a hands-on demonstration or interactive game to help the students learn important messaging about water and the environment. Groups of students rotate through the activity centres, visiting approximately 10 activities throughout the day.
