Bottle Caps

Place in the Blue Box. Remove medication and rinse. If unable to remove all medicine from the bottle, place this item in the garbage. Bottle caps that are fastened to the bottle are to be placed in the Blue Box. Place loose bottle caps in the garbage. Loose bottle caps are too small to be recovered in the recycling process.
Molded Plastic Packaging

Place in the Blue Box. Remove any boxboard contained within the plastic packaging and place it in the Grey Box.
Pail (Metal)

Paint Can (Metal or Plastic - Empty)

Place in the Blue Box. Plastic and metal paint cans with a thin layer of residual dry paint are accepted. Remove the lid from the paint can before placing in the Blue Box.
Perfume Bottle (Empty)

Remove perfume residue and rinse and place in Blue Box. If unable to remove perfume residue, put this item in the garbage. For perfume bottles with metal lids, remove the metal lid and place in the Blue Box. For perfume bottles with small plastic lids, remove the small plastic lid and place in the garbage. Small plastic lids are too small to be recovered in the recycling process.
