Dead animals found on private property are the responsibility of the property owner. It is suggested that bury it next to a tree or property line. Do not place dead animal carcasses in the Green Bin, Blue or Grey Box. If you do not want to collect and dispose of the dead animal there are private businesses that can be hired to do this work for a fee. Human Societies and the SPCA do not come to collect dead animals from private residential properties. Do not place dead animals in the Garbage, Green Bin, Blue or Grey Box.

If you are not able to bring the infant car seat to a Drop-off Depot, schedule a large item pick-up. Pick-ups must be booked at least 2 days before your regular collection day. To avoid the re-use of unsafe infant car seats placed out at the curb for collection, cut and remove the straps from the car seat and write EXPIRED, CRASHED or UNSAFE on the shell of the seat with a marker.

Small twigs, maximum 1.5 cm (0.5") diameter and 30.5 cm (12") in length are acceptable in your Green Bin and/or yard waste bags. Larger branches are collected on designated dates throughout the year.
