Residents can purchase 10-ride and monthly passes online. Pricing options are available for different ages / demographics. Children 12 and under don't require a pass to ride.
Note: Niagara College has opted out of the U-Pass program. Students are required to pay adult fares.
There is a minimum order requirement of one 10-ride or one monthly pass. Niagara Region Transit passes will be mailed within five business days. Canada Post doesn't guarantee mail delivery times. You should expect delays in delivery.
Once you have selected a pass type and completed the billing form, you will be automatically redirected to a secure payment page to enter your credit card information.
Municipal transit services are HST exempt.
Niagara Region Transit passes (10-ride and monthly) can be used as valid fare on Niagara Falls, Welland and St. Catharines Transit buses and NRT OnDemand. 10-ride passes do not expire.
Proof of confirmation of the online purchase is not a valid fare.
Monthly passes are valid only for the month that is displayed on the pass.
Be sure to place your order at least 10 business days before the start of the month to allow time for processing and to ensure you get the most value out of your monthly pass.
Monthly passes are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Lost or stolen passes are not replaced or refunded. Sign line A on your pass before first use.
Emailed receipts come from Niagara Region via webmaster@niagararegion.ca. Be sure to check your junk email folder in case it is flagged as spam.
