Niagara College has opted out of the U-Pass program. As of July 2, students are required to pay adult fares.
As an example, a rider can board a local bus in Niagara Falls, transfer to a Niagara Region Transit bus to get to St. Catharines, and then transfer to a St. Catharines Transit bus to complete their journey -- and all for just the one Regional fare.
This makes the Regional monthly pass an excellent choice as it eliminates the need to purchase passes from more than one transit agency.

Whether you're boarding a local bus or a Regional bus first, just follow these easy steps:
If you have a Niagara Region Transit monthly pass, you don't need to ask for a transfer.
The Fort Erie - Niagara Falls Link is a $3.50 fare. If transferring to another Niagara Region Transit bus, it's a $6 fare, instead of $3.50.
The Port Colborne - Welland Link is a $4 fare. If transferring to another Niagara Region Transit bus, it's a $6 fare, instead of $4.
Residents who are also CNIB cardholders may show their card and ride Niagara Region Transit for free. Residents may also transfer to any of the local transit services for free.
