Celebrating ten years of the Niagara Prosperity Initiative

After ten years and nearly 15 million dollars invested in the community, the Niagara Prosperity Initiative (NPI) is celebrating the positive impact the initiative has had on Niagara throughout the past decade and looking forward to how poverty will continue to be addressed by the NPI.

This year, the NPI will fund 23 projects from 17 agencies across Niagara, serving over 10,000 people and creating nearly 200 jobs.

Remarks will be provided by Regional Chair Alan Caslin, Mayor Doug Joyner, Commissioner of Community Services Adrienne Jugley, and Jane LaVacca from Westview Centre4Women.

In addition, representatives from several NPI-funded programs will be in attendance.
