Niagara Region is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Martuccio P. Eng. as the Director of Construction, Energy and Facilities Management, as of June 18.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director Construction, Energy and Facilities Management is responsible for providing strategic direction and is directly accountable for the effective service delivery of a portfolio that includes facility design, construction and operations, accommodations and facilities planning, property maintenance and energy engineering services to departments and some boards and agencies of the Region.
Anthony joins the Region from the City of St. Catharines where he spent the past 15 years in the Facilities and Energy division, most recently as Manager of Facilities and Energy and as a Design and Construction Engineer prior to that.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McMaster University, and has more than 19 years’ experience in construction, project management and facilities operations within the geo-technical, manufacturing, industrial and municipal sectors. In addition, Anthony is a current member with the Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Municipal Engineers Association, Ontario Building Officials Association and the Ontario Recreation Facilities Association Inc.
