South Niagara Health and Wellness Centre

The South Niagara Health and Wellness Centre offers free rehabilitation, wellness programs and community resource connections to help older adults remain safe and independent in their own home.


Services are focused on helping seniors achieve optimal mobility, function and independence. The team works with participants to set goals and develop a treatment plan tailored to individual needs .

The program provides opportunities for seniors to:

  • Build strength, balance and confidence through exercise
  • Socialize with others who are motivated to staying healthy, safe and strong
  • Learn about health and wellness
  • Learn about resources available to support independence and health
  • Interact with students through classroom and clinic experiences

The program combines both ambulatory rehabilitation and wellness programming up to 12 weeks.

There is no cost to attend this program.


The program is available to older adults who are medically and physically stable. Participants must:

  • Reside in Ontario
  • Possess a valid health card number
  • Be able to transfer independently or with one person assisting

Hours of Operation

The centre is open Monday to Friday. Daily session times are:

  • 9 a.m. to noon
  • 1 to 4 p.m.


If transportation is required, program staff can provide information about available options. Parking is available onsite for a fee.
