Application for Sign Permit
This application is required for placing or erecting any sign notice or advertising device within 20m from centerline of any Regional road, including private property. Signs may require municipal approval in addition to this application.
Our setback requirements are as follows:
- The sign must be one metre setback from the street line / Regional property line (the sign must be entirely on private property)
- The sign must be five metres from a driveway and eight metres from an intersection
- Billboard signs require a 10 metre setback from the street line / Regional property line
- Sign permit fee: $85
- Billboard permit fee: $620 + $85 (inspection fee)
Processing time is a minimum of 14 business days from the date of application.
