Station Road Naturalization Site

The Station Road Naturalization Site operated as a municipal landfill since the mid-1950's.

The Site was closed in November 2009. Shortly thereafter in 2010, the Station Road naturalization site was constructed.

The Station Road naturalization site is linked with the Gord Harry Trail.

Hours: May - October 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.
November - April 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Guidelines for Visitors

Residents are asked to follow these rules when visiting the naturalization site:

  • Do not feed or disturb any animal or wildlife
  • Do not damage or move any building, equipment or structure
  • Do not bring or consume and alcoholic beverage
  • Do not light any fire, including barbecue
  • Do not engage in any sport or game
  • No smoking
  • No littering
  • Pets should be kept on a leash that is no longer than two metres
  • Clean up after pets
