Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

The group is for people who have trouble handling their emotions or controlling their impulses and is commonly used for people with borderline personality disorder.

Specific, personal issues will not be discussed at these sessions.

Fall and Winter Sessions Available

Sessions are held during fall and winter, during the mornings. Each group meets ten times. Participants must provide their own transportation.

Signs you may have Borderline Personality Disorder:

  • Feeling abandoned or lonely
  • Unstable and/or intense relationships
  • Unstable self-image or sense of self
  • Impulsive behaviour
  • Unstable mood (mixture of depression, anxiety, rage, despair)
  • Chronic felling of emptiness
  • Difficulty controlling anger
  • Distrustful or suspicious of others


Only participants can sign themselves up for this group. Family and friends cannot refer you.

Participants must provide their own transportation and there is a small fee to cover materials.
