To ensure continued supports, a children's services referral update must be submitted yearly.
Niagara Region Children’s Services will provide additional funding to help children in child care centres where safety is in question due to developmental, social and/or emotional needs of a child.
If funding is approved, the centre and Resource Consultant Agency will be notified in writing. A case conference will be held and alternate supports will be discussed to determine any other funding that may be accessed or other options of support within the child care operation.
Supports are approved for up to 12 weeks at a time.

The Inclusive Child Care Supports Committee is a partnership of agencies that provide supports to children with special needs. The agencies work together to deliver services that meet the defined need of the child in a timely and effective way. Partners include:
