Females

For females aged 0-64, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, ischaemic heart disease and cerebrovascular diseases were listed among the leading causes of death for Welland and Niagara. In Welland, diabetes mellitus completes the list, whereas in Niagara, breast cancer was a leading cause of death.

Males

For males aged 0-64, the leading causes of death are identical for Welland and Niagara.
